Foley China - but who made it?

Confusingly there were at least 5 different companies operating in the Foley district of Longton. The name “Foley” was used in different guises, by these companies and became subject of a court case. The companies Foley China Co and Wileman & Co changed their name in 1910 to Shelley China, when it was judged that “Foley” could not be registered as a trade name and no company could have exclusive use of the name.
