i just stumbled into the most gorgeous art nouveau teapot or coffee pot with the Peacock Pottery backstamp. It is a beautiful pink ombre piece with applied sterling silver vines, ivy and possibly a daffodil? i did purchase it for resale as I have an antique shop, but after reading the fascinating history of the company, I’m not sure I can part with it. I’ve never seen or heard of the company before, but have only recently begun collecting art pottery, porcelain and china. My background has been in Victorian jewelry. I would love to learn a name for the pattern or any info about it. I won’t be so crass as to tell you the terribly insignificant price I paid for it nor ask you to provide a value for it, unless it is so uncommonly rare that I should insure it. I just have no clue about it. Thank you, in advance, for reaching out at your convenience.
A friend owns a tea set of Foley Art China Peacock pottery with the 1905-1913 marking and would like to know more about it (and its value). Beneath the peacock is ‘Copyright 45’ (which I assume is the same as Design 45). You have an image of this Design 45 (a purple flower with 2 green leaves) in your design page ‘logo’ (2nd line left hand image) though you say you cannot find Design 45.
I cannot open your discussion of the designs. I don’t whether this is my incompetence or yours, but it is disappointing.
